The Big, Big Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #42
The Big, Big Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #42 is an oversized, spiral-bound version of the Guide. It contains the same pricing data, but none of the articles or other features in the Guide. It also doesn't have the ads. Limited to 1,500 copies. This is the first time in four years we've offered it, and we're very glad to have it make a comeback. And keeping with the comeback theme, the cover features Valiant's X-O Manowar.,
Overstreet #42 Now On Sale
As always happens, when I get deep into The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide before it goes to press, I stop posting. It's that kind of project, which it's supposed to be, right? The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #42 went on sale on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. I'm happy to say it's the third straight year we had one of the hardcovers sell out on opening day (Adam Hughes' Catwoman HC) and it's also the third straight year we were able to do an exclusive edition as a fundraiser for The Hero Initiative (Matt Wagner's great Batman - Grendel piece). Joe Jusko's Avengers is selling well, too, and it's the one you'll be able to find in traditional bookstores as well as comic shops.

FABLES FOR JAPAN
FABLES FOR JAPAN is a three-book series containing prose, sequential comic art, poetry and more created to raise money for the victim's of Japan's earthquake and tsunami one year ago.
I'm very proud to have contributed a story with the super-talented MARK WHEATLEY to the second volume of the series, which features a cover by another super-talented friend of mine, V For Vendetta artist DAVID LLOYD.
Books I and II are already available as PDF downloads. All the money goes to charity as there is no print cost and all the creators have donated their efforts.

JUST FOR THE RECORD...
Although I wish it has lasted longer (and although I wish Dark Horse had put my credits on #3), I really enjoyed getting to work with Jim Shooter and Patrick Olliffe on Mighty Samson.
Despite having been at this a while and having known Jim for years, I learned a lot.
